| This was my first Mel Brooks
film and I still love it (Blazing Saddles
is also one of my favorites). It airs frequently on Bravo TV and
I usually stop to watch it, even though I own it on DVD and
video. It's just so funny.
I was lucky enough to see the Broadway
musical version shortly after it opened and while the first
leads, Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, were still in it.
It was great. The story was expanded and was, hard to
believe, even better than the film. |
