Hamlet is one of my favorite plays.  I've seen it on stage a few times, featuring Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman and Boyd Gaines in the lead role.  I've seen several movie and TV versions, featuring Lord Laurence Olivier, Richard Chamberlain, Sir Derek Jacobi, Nicol Williamson, Mel Gibson, and Kevin Kline - at least those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.  I've even listened to Richard Burton perform the role on a recording.  This version starring Kenneth Branagh is my favorite film version of the play. It's unabridged, well acted and visually stunning.
