| I've been a fan of the
Coen Brothers since I saw Blood
Simple and Miller's Crossing.
Fargo is a really funny film with serious overtones.
It's difficult to explain to someone who has never seen the film
how a scene involving a wood chipper could be so funny.
The performances are amazing.
William H. Macy was nominated for an Academy Award and Frances
McDormand received an Academy Award for her performance. The
Coens received the Academy Award for Best Original
Screenplay. Roger
Deakins cinematography of the miles and miles of snow is
beautiful. |
