| The trailer for this
film was so funny. I was really looking forward to seeing
it. I went with a friend on the day it opened. I
almost had to leave the cinema twice, because I was laughing so
hard at Billy Bob Thornton's character, Terry. The sound
that is attached to this page was so unexpected and so ridiculous
- I could not stop laughing. When I finally regained
control, Terry started flopping around on the floor like a fish
while trying to dance with Kate (Cate Blanchett), and I lost it
yet again.
It's just a very funny film made by
a Baltimore hometown boy, Barry
Levinson. I bought it the day it was released on DVD and
have watched it several times since. It never fails to make
me laugh. |
